As everyone is trying to responsibly navigate through the uncertainties posed by the COVID-19 global pandemic, we at Yosemite Cellars have decided NOT to open our wine tasting venue for the 2021 season. This has been a difficult decision to make, but we feel this decision is best for us personally, as well as for those who would visit our tasting venue. As our understanding of the virus continues to progress, and as the development of safe and effective vaccines materialize, we will reassess our decision as circumstances warrant. In the meantime, we will continue to have wine available for purchase via area retail outlets, onsite pickups, and shipping to locations within California. Stay Healthy!
Wines of the Sierra Foothills
Welcome to Yosemite Cellars
Sixteen years ago we began a journey to grow wine grapes and produce wine from an untested area of the Sierra Foothills at 3000' elevation. Located in Groveland, California, Yosemite Cellars offers wines made exclusively from our estate vineyard located near the scenic grandeur of Yosemite National Park. Take a tour of our web site and familiarize yourself with our vineyard, our wines and us!

Our Wines
Our wines and our approach to winemaking are an extension of our farming philosophy that "less is more". We strive to make the best wines from the fruit that comes from each harvest, with the least amount of fuss and intervention. Our primary objective is to produce wines that best reflect the true character of the fruit.

“Ron and Cheryl are wonderful hosts and have a beautiful vineyard and outdoor tasting space. As we were leaving I told my Mom, ‘I love wineries that have wines that I expect to taste a certain way and they don’t.’ That describes every wine we tasted at Yosemite Cellars. Every year of the Firefall blends offered totally different tastes. And the Rose and Tannat are wines I could drink all day (unfortunately).”
